Rudy was among the first UK DJs to master mixing and scratching, influenced by the coveted Technics turntables. His journey began in 1980 with Joey & Norman's Good Times sound system. Over the years, he has played at legendary London venues like the Wag (Soho), Ministry of Sound, and Hippodrome, while also compiling Top 10 R&B, Hip-Hop & Dancehall albums for Maximum Sounds in Japan and France.

Rudy's DJ career spans Europe, the US, and the Caribbean, performing at elite festivals like St Lucia Jazz Festival, DE-JAM Antigua, and Notting Hill Carnival. He’s been requested to DJ film premieres for stars like Denzel Washington & Samuel L Jackson, and played private events for Justin Timberlake.

A fixture at Sir Norman Jay MBE’s Good Times parties, Rudy continues to headline major events worldwide, including the I Luv Kuduro festival in Angola, IMS in Ibiza alongside Pete Tong, Fatboy Slim, and Idris Elba, and various corporate functions for brands like Hilton, Nintendo, GAP, and G-Star.

Recognized as the ‘Best All-Round’ DJ, Rudy’s talent extends across genres—from Soul & Reggae to Rock, Pop, Kizomba, and House.
